Craps dealer can be tipped in 2 different ways.
A Hand-In.
Decide how much chips you want to trip the dealer with and toss this number of chips onm the Craps table and say “For the dealers.”
Bet for the dealers.
You can simply make a bet for the dealer. In the case of a win of this bet the dealer gets the bet itself and the amount won.
When to tip
You can tip during your session (especially if you're on a hot streak), or at the end of your session. Tipping during the game is better for dealers because as long as you win you tip, but when you lose and has nothing left you have nothing to tip the dealer with. The best way out for the payer is to make a bet or 2 bets during the game and then to hand in at the end of your session. The dealers will notice your early bets for them and make sure you get good service, and by delaying future tipping to the end of the session, you can avoid a situation where you tipped heavily during a hot streak and then hit a bad streak, with the dealers winding up with more money than you.
Which bets to make for the dealers
Of course the dealer will be grateful for any bet you made for him, but most of all like a real gambler he will appreciate bets with the lower house advantage.
